Is there an English-speaking skin clinic in Busan?
Yes. The Boom consults in English, Japanese and Chinese with coordinators on staff, not a translation app at the counter. The consultation itself happens in your language, and written aftercare continues in the same language over WhatsApp once you are home.

Do foreign patients pay more at Korean clinics?
Not here. The prices on this site are the ones local patients pay, and they already include 10% VAT. What changes a final figure is units, volume and treated area, not nationality. Separate foreigner pricing does exist at some clinics in Korea, so it is a fair question to ask anywhere before you commit. See the full price list.

Can I have a treatment on a short trip to Busan?
Most treatments fit a single visit of under two hours including consultation. Botox takes about ten minutes, filler fifteen to twenty, laser toning fifteen to twenty with make-up the same day. Only deeper resurfacing needs planning around downtime. We are open until 21:00 on Tuesday and Thursday and through lunch on Saturday, which widens the window on a tight itinerary.

Can I walk in without booking?
Yes, Monday to Saturday. Waiting can be long at peak hours, so message first and we hold a slot. Same-day consultation and treatment are usually possible.

Why choose Busan rather than Seoul for skin treatment?
The devices are the same. Ultherapy, Thermage, Rejuran and the rest are identical products wherever they are used in Korea. What differs is price level and appointment pressure: Gangnam carries a district premium and books out; Seomyeon does not. Gimhae Airport is forty minutes away, and Busan Station puts Seoul within two and a half hours by KTX if you want both cities in one trip.

Is there a dermatologist?
Our three doctors are licensed physicians focused on aesthetic skin medicine, and the Medical Director is a board-certified internal-medicine specialist. Korea does not require a dermatology specialty for aesthetic lasers and injectables. Every credential is listed exactly as it is on our About page, and the doctor who consults you is the one who treats you.

Can I pay with an overseas card? Is there a tax refund?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UnionPay and JCB issued abroad are accepted, as is Korean won in cash. Cosmetic treatments are not eligible for tax refund, so the VAT-included price on this site is the final price.

What if the doctor says I do not need the treatment I came for?
Then you will be told, and there is no charge for having asked. Dark circles are the clearest example: if the shadow comes from a hollow, filler resolves it; if it comes from pigmentation or thin skin showing the vessels beneath, filler will not help and may make it worse. Sagging past a certain point needs surgery rather than threads. A consultation that ends without a booking is a normal outcome here.

What should I bring to the first visit?
Your passport, a list of medications and allergies, and photos of the concern in daylight if you have them. If you have had filler, toxin or laser in the last six months, tell us what and when. There is no paperwork to prepare in advance.

How do I get from Gimhae Airport to the clinic?
Take the light rail to Sasang, change to Line 2 and get off at Seomyeon, Exit 1. The clinic is less than a minute from the exit. A taxi takes about thirty minutes; show the driver the Korean address in the footer.
